Retread Tire Processing Method

In the process of retreading a used tire, the worn-out tread rubber is removed, and any nail holes or damaged areas are carefully repaired. Afterward, a new layer of vulcanized rubber is applied, and the tire is heat-treated either in a mold or chamber, depending on the processing method.

  • Hot-Cap (Mold Cure)

This method involves retreading up to the shoulder of the tire. It provides a clean appearance and performs well in harsh conditions such as construction sites or rough roads.

  • Cold-Cap (Pre-Cured)

This method only retreads the worn-out section in contact with the road, making it suitable for use in well-maintained conditions, such as paved roads.

Durable Retread Tires

  1. 01

    Used Tire Collection

Visually inspect used tires that can be recycled into retreaded tires and collect them.

  2. 02

    Inspection Process

After collecting the used tires, they are dried, and the repair areas are inspected to determine whether the tire can be retreaded.

  3. 03

    Buffing Process

Through grinding, the basic shape of the tire is reprocessed according to specifications.

  4. 04

    Building Process Hot-Cap (Mold Cure)

Based on mold and product design, a new layer of rubber is applied to the tire in a balanced form, following volume distribution.

  5. 04

    Building Process Cold-Cap (Pre-Cured)

Patterned tread rubber is attached to the tread area of the tire, depending on the type of tire.

  1. 05

    Curing Process Cold-Cap (Pre-Cured)

The tire is placed in a chamber and subjected to the appropriate heat and pressure to produce the final product.
